Note: 13 Star Sign Astrology is an ancient form of Astrology that hasn’t been used for over 2000 years. It is based on the true astronomical data of the Planets and includes the constellation of Ophiuchus (Serpentarius) who also sits on the ecliptic. So the Star Sign I am referring to may be in the previous Star Sign compared to the traditional forms of Astrology used. Our ancestors used this system of astrology for many centuries until the map was redesigned for agricultural reasons and because it didn’t allow movement for the precession of the equinox’s; or use the true sizes of the constellations; this map has been out of date for many, many years.

The Moon in Scorpio has strong biased emotions based on a willful desire to possess, sacrifice and restructure. This Moon takes personal affairs very seriously. The Scorpio Moon is very attached her own desires and will dominate others through subtle means and when her energy is extreme, she can hold grudges and plan a revenge at an opportune time. However if the Scorpio Moon has a clear direction and the right motivation she will find no sacrifice too great to achieve a worthwhile goal. She has definite motives for all her actions, although what drives her may not always be understood. Scorpio herself represents death, transformation, destruction and revelation; she represents the Tower in the tarot deck and is ruled by Pluto, who in mythology is Lilith’s husband.
Less than two hours later our New Moon moves into Ophiuchus the sign of resurrection and new beginnings. She represents the Phoenix rising from the ashes and is the soothsayer and guardian of hidden knowledge. The Ophiuchus Moon is far removed from what is considered normal; she shuns reality and materialism and lives by her own rules. Ophiuchus has suffered persecution at the hands of man and repels the manmade system that attempted to destroy and banish her existence from the wheel of life, but just like the Phoenix, she will continue to rise again and again until she has regained her audience and the role she plays in our destiny. Ophiuchus is that missing piece we have all been unconsciously searching for, that part of us that feels unfulfilled.
The aspects are harsh towards our New Moon this month as a ‘grand aspect’; the ‘T.square’ is aimed towards her, with Neptune and the Moon’s Nodes being the opposing factors to her stress. Also in the firing line of this T.square is the Sun and the asteroid Juno. This shows a strong possibility of serious break downs occurring in our relationships and commitments; it is highly likely that the cause is due to self indulgence or self destructive acts. Issues around escapism through addiction will have a negative influence within relationships.
Unrealistic ambitions and the need to feel important could bring out a destructive and severe ego in those that are seduced by a distorted perception of reality. Circumstances can occur that will be beyond our control, we must hold onto our faith, humility, and realistic practicality to weather this blizzard, its intention is to blind us from seeing clearly our true destiny. It will be hard to stay balanced and focused under these difficult conditions. Beware also of unwise financial speculation; it will only lead to loss.
It will be important to cleanse our homes using salt & lemons, or any other form of spiritual cleansing, as this New Moon brings in a low level vibration that is muddy and confused. We must brace ourselves and ride this destructive storm and have faith that an ending is also a new beginning.
The Black Moon Lilith in Libra emphasizes schisms in relationships through her intense desire for perfection and her unrealistic expectations. It is time for us to assess our values and determine what is truly of value.
We must cleanse our bodies and environments with good quality salt, lemons, smudge sticks and any other spiritual cleansing aids. Meditation will help us to maintain a sense of peace and blind faith through this passage of uncertainty.
Meditate on and cleanse all chakras with white light to keep the flow of energy through the chakras clean and unblocked.
